The GFPS organizational structure is headed by the GFPS Chairperson, who provides overall leadership and oversight of the organization's GAD mainstreaming initiatives.
Three key components operate under the GFPS Chairperson: the GAD Executive Committee, GAD Technical Working Group, and the GAD Secretariat headed by the GAD Focal Person. The GAD Executive Committee provides strategic direction and policy guidance; the GAD TWG provides technical support in the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of GAD programs and activities; while the GAD Secretariat facilitates coordination, documentation, administrative support, and the day-to-day operations of the GFPS.
Collectively, these components ensure the coordinated and sustained implementation of GAD mainstreaming efforts within the organization.
